Event Details

The Buffalo Soldiers Presentation Team will give an overview of the history of African American soldiers after the Civil War. The name "Buffalo Soldiers" was given by Native Americans on the Western Plain. The Team will talk about the uniforms and equipment used by the soldiers. They will also discuss how the group communicated in the 1800's. Presented by The Buffalo Soldiers Presentation Team, part of the Pennington-Moye Veterans of Foreign Wars post 9251, in cooperation with the Greece Historical Society.
